FORGINGS

Cggroup can offer:

• open die forgings – up to 30 tons,
• closed die forgings – weight from 0,1kg up to 120kg.

Available materials:

• carbon steels and alloy steels,
• light metals alloys (Al,Mg,Ti alloys),
• copper alloys.

During design of forging process our technology team will do optimization of tools geometry and heat treatment to get all needed mass and mechanical parameters of items, (as well as costs reduction).

All forgings we can deliver in as-forged, raw-machined or fully machined version (all according to documentation).

On finished forgings we can do surface treating especially:

• hot deep galvanizing,
• chemical galvanizng,
• chromming (without Cr VI usage),
• anodizing (hard or decorative),
• painting.

If the designed item need to be as strong as it can be – forging process should be the best choice.

Thanks to plastic deformation forged metal can get optimal grain structure that guarantee a long-life product without any internal defects.

Specially designed heat treatment implemented before, during and after forging process can increase mechanical parameters to a level that can’t be achieved in any other production processes.
